Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials in French language, literature, and culture to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Design, update, and evaluate curriculum courses in alignment with National Universities Commission (NUC) standards.
  • Supervise undergraduate research projects, long essays, and mentor students academically and professionally.
  • Conduct high-level academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
  • Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, administrative duties, and community service initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a First Degree with a minimum of Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division with a PhD.
  • A PhD or Master's degree in French or Foreign Languages from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant teaching and research experience at the tertiary level.
  • Proven track record of academic excellence with a minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed publications.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and digital literacy skills for modern pedagogical delivery.
