About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials in undergraduate and postgraduate Finance courses.
  • Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
  • Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable academic journals.
  • Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university committee assignments.
  • Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives within the Faculty of Management Sciences.
  • Assess student performance through examinations, continuous assessments, and constructive feedback.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a PhD or a Master's degree in Finance or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of active teaching and research experience at the tertiary education level.
  • A strong publication record with a minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed journal articles.
  • A First Degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division, OR a Second-Class Lower Division combined with a completed PhD.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in modern pedagogical methods and financial software tools.
