The University of Benin (UNIBEN) is a prestigious federal institution committed to academic excellence and innovation. We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified Lecturer I to join our vibrant Department of Management Science within the Faculty. In this role, you will shape the minds of future business leaders by imparting cutting-edge knowledge in entrepreneurship, driving impactful research, and contributing to the holistic development of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical training in entrepreneurship and management science to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop and update course curricula in line with modern entrepreneurial trends, industry standards, and National Universities Commission (NUC) guidelines.
- Conduct high-quality, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable academic journals to advance the field of entrepreneurship.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students, guiding their career paths and enterprise development initiatives.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, administrative duties, and community service initiatives.
- Possession of a PhD or a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship, Management Science, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of three (3) years of teaching and research experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed publications in reputable academic journals.
- A strong academic foundation, including a First Degree with not below a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division with a PhD.
