Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures and practical training to undergraduate medical students in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
  • Supervise clinical rotations, student research projects, and provide proactive academic mentorship.
  • Conduct impactful, peer-reviewed research and contribute to the academic standing of the department and university.
  • Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university-wide academic committees.
  • Engage in clinical service delivery and maintain professional standards within affiliated teaching hospitals.
  • Perform other academic and administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Department or University Management.

Qualifications
  • Possession of an MBBS or BDS as a first degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
  • Relevant postgraduate medical qualification appropriate for the Lecturer I rank.
  • Demonstrated teaching, research, clinical, and scholarly experience commensurate with the position.
  • Evidence of quality publications in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
  • Active registration with the relevant professional regulatory body and possession of a current, valid practising licence.
  • Strong capacity for academic instruction, student mentorship, and institutional service.
  • All academic and professional qualifications must be fully verifiable.
