Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures, seminars, and practical sessions to undergraduate medical students in the Department of Medicine.
- Supervise student research projects, clinical rotations, and provide comprehensive academic mentorship and career guidance.
- Conduct impactful, peer-reviewed research and contribute to the academic standing of the Faculty of Clinical Sciences through scholarly publications.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, student assessment, and university committee service.
- Maintain active clinical practice where applicable and engage in community health initiatives representing the university.
- Possession of an MBBS or BDS as a first degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Relevant postgraduate medical or academic qualification appropriate for a Lecturer I position.
- Demonstrated teaching, research, clinical, and scholarly experience commensurate with the rank sought.
- Evidence of strong academic publications in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Current registration with the relevant professional regulatory body alongside a valid, up-to-date practising licence.
- Proven capacity for effective teaching, mentorship, scholarly research, and institutional academic service.
