Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging undergraduate lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Human Physiology in accordance with NUC and university standards.
  • Supervise undergraduate student research projects, academic assignments, and laboratory practicals.
  • Conduct high-quality, impactful research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
  • Provide academic advising, career mentorship, and pastoral guidance to students within the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences.
  • Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings, curriculum development, and administrative duties.

Qualifications
  • Must possess an MBBS or BDS degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
  • A relevant postgraduate academic qualification appropriate for the Lecturer I rank.
  • Demonstrated teaching, research, clinical, and scholarly experience commensurate with the position.
  • Strong portfolio of publications in reputable peer-reviewed academic journals.
  • Current registration with the relevant professional regulatory body alongside a valid, up-to-date practising licence.
  • Proven capacity for effective teaching, academic mentorship, and collaborative institutional service.
