Based at our modern Medical Campus in Abuja, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of medical professionals through rigorous classroom instruction, hands-on clinical training, and impactful research.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical training to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students in the Department of Anaesthesia.
- Supervise clinical practice and clerkships, ensuring students adhere to the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Conduct high-quality academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide academic counseling, mentorship, and career guidance to students.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and faculty committees to advance the university's academic goals.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals at affiliated teaching hospitals to bridge academic theory with practical clinical application.
- Possession of an MBBS or BDS as a first degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Relevant postgraduate medical or academic qualification appropriate for the Lecturer I rank.
- Demonstrated teaching, research, clinical, and scholarly experience commensurate with the position.
- Evidence of scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Current registration with the relevant professional regulatory body and a valid practising licence.
- Strong capacity for academic mentorship, collaborative research, and institutional service.
- All submitted academic and professional qualifications must be verifiable.
