About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical training in Curriculum and Instructional Technology to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Develop, review, and update curriculum materials to align with modern educational standards and technological advancements.
  • Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and academic fieldworks.
  • Conduct high-quality research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the academic reputation of the university.
  • Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties, committees, and community service initiatives.
  • Mentor and advise students on academic performance, career paths, and professional development.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a PhD or a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instructional Technology or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
  • A strong publication record with a minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed journal articles.
  • A mandatory first degree with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division combined with a completed PhD.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in integrating modern educational technology into teaching and learning practices.
