We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Lecturer I to join our Department of Computer Engineering. In this role, you will shape the next generation of engineers, drive innovative research, and contribute to the vibrant academic community of one of Nigeria's leading tertiary institutions.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Computer Engineering.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic committee duties.
- Mentor students and provide academic guidance to foster their professional growth.
- Engage in community service and institutional development initiatives on behalf of the university.
- Possession of a PhD or a Master's degree in Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of three (3) years of active teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- A minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed publications in reputable academic journals.
- Must possess a First Degree with not below a Second-Class Upper Division, OR a Second-Class Lower Division with a PhD.
