Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Clinical Chemistry and related Medical Laboratory Science courses.
- Supervise student research projects, practical laboratory sessions, and academic dissertations.
- Conduct high-level academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and academic committee assignments.
- Assess student performance, grade examinations, and provide constructive academic mentoring.
- Engage in community service and uphold the moral and ethical standards of the university.
- Must possess a PhD in Clinical Chemistry or a closely related relevant discipline.
- Minimum of three (3) years of cognate university teaching and research experience.
- Demonstrated evidence of continuing research and relevant academic publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Proven competence in effective teaching, student supervision, and ICT-driven educational delivery.
- Possession of current professional registration and a valid practising licence where applicable.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative teamwork skills.
