About the Role

We are currently looking for a passionate and qualified academic professional to fill the role of Lecturer I in Business Administration within our vibrant Department of Management Science. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality education, mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students, and contributing to cutting-edge research in business and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials in various undergraduate and postgraduate Business Administration courses.
  • Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
  • Conduct impactful academic research and publish findings in reputable, peer-reviewed journals.
  • Design, update, and evaluate course curricula to align with modern industry standards and NUC guidelines.
  • Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, administrative duties, and community service initiatives.
  • Mentor students academically and professionally to foster holistic development.
Qualifications
  • Must possess a First Degree with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Candidates with a Second-Class Lower Division First Degree must possess a PhD to qualify.
  • Must hold a PhD or a Master's degree in Business Administration or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant teaching and research experience at a tertiary institution.
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed academic publications in reputable journals.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in modern teaching methodologies and strong interpersonal skills.
