Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Lecturer I, you will play a pivotal role in academic development and student mentorship. Your core duties will include:
- Delivering engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Aquaculture and Fisheries Management.
- Supervising student research projects, dissertations, and practical field training.
- Conducting innovative, peer-reviewed research that contributes to the advancement of agricultural sciences.
- Participating in departmental and faculty meetings, curriculum development, and administrative duties.
- Engaging in community outreach and professional service related to sustainable fisheries and aquaculture development.
Candidates applying for this position must meet the following academic and professional standards:
- Possession of a First Degree with not below a Second-Class Upper Division. Candidates with a Second-Class Lower Division must hold a PhD.
- Must hold a PhD or a Master's degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries Management, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of three (3) years of teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Proven track record of academic excellence with a minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed publications in reputable journals.
