We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified Lecturer I to join our expanding Department of Agribusiness and contribute to our academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions in Agribusiness to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop and update course curricula integrating emerging educational technologies and modern teaching practices.
- Conduct high-quality academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Mentor students, provide academic advising, and assess student performance fairly and consistently.
- Collaborate with departmental colleagues to achieve institutional goals and accreditation standards.
- Participate actively in university committees, community engagement initiatives, and professional development programs.
- Hold a PhD in Agribusiness or a closely related field from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in tertiary education or relevant industry experience.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital learning platforms.
- Demonstrated passion for student-centred learning and academic research excellence.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative teamwork skills.
- Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
