Wellspring University, a prestigious private institution grounded in Christian ethics and principles, is seeking a qualified and passionate academic professional to fill the role of Lecturer I (Accounting) within our Faculty of Social and Management Sciences. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures and tutorials in undergraduate Accounting courses using modern teaching methodologies and technology.
- Conduct impactful academic research, actively publishing findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals to contribute to the advancement of the discipline.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, academic assignments, and field praktikums effectively.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and university committee assignments as assigned by management.
- Mentor students academically, professionally, and morally in alignment with the Christian values and vision of the institution.
- Must possess a PhD in Accounting or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years of cognate university teaching and research experience.
- Demonstrated evidence of continuing academic research, relevant scholarly publications, and proven competence in student supervision.
- Proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for virtual and physical teaching delivery.
- Possession of strong interpersonal, communication, and pedagogical skills, with current professional accounting registration and a valid practising licence where applicable.
