Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Pharmaceutical Microbiology to undergraduate pharmacy students.
  • Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and innovative curriculum content aligned with regulatory standards and modern educational practices.
  • Conduct high-quality research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the academic advancement of the university.
  • Mentor, advise, and supervise undergraduate students in academic matters, research projects, and career development.
  • Participate in department meetings, committee work, accreditation exercises, and university-wide community service initiatives.
  • Design, administer, and grade examinations, tests, and quizzes while providing constructive feedback to students.

Qualifications
  • Possess a relevant doctoral degree (Ph.D.) or a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Microbiology or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Demonstrated teaching experience at the tertiary education level with a strong commitment to academic excellence.
  • Active research portfolio with evidence of scholarly publications in reputable academic journals.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with relevant professional regulatory bodies in Nigeria.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and digital literacy skills for modern pedagogical delivery.
