We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified professional to join our academic community as a Lecturer Grade II in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions in Mechatronics Engineering and related disciplines to undergraduate students.
- Develop, update, and review curricula, course materials, and assessment methods in alignment with National Universities Commission (NUC) standards and industry needs.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, research endeavors, and industrial training attachments.
- Engage in impactful research, scholarly publications, and academic conferences to contribute to the advancement of mechatronics and robotics.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, administrative duties, and community service initiatives.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students to foster their holistic personal and professional development.
- Possess a Ph.D. or a strong Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field from a recognized university.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching, academic research, or relevant professional engineering practice is highly advantageous.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant professional body, such as COREN, is a significant requirement.
- Strong proficiency in modern engineering software, programming languages, and practical hardware implementation related to mechatronics systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills with a genuine passion for student mentorship and academic excellence.
