Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, practical laboratory sessions, and seminars in Cyber Security and related computing modules to undergraduate students.
- Develop and update course curricula, teaching materials, and assessment methods in line with current industry standards and academic benchmarks.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, dissertations, and industrial training placements.
- Conduct impactful academic research, publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the growth of the department.
- Participate in departmental meetings, university committees, and student academic advising.
- Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives as required by the university management.
- Possess a minimum of a Master's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field from a recognized institution (a Ph.D. or progress towards one will be a distinct advantage).
- Relevant teaching, research, or professional industry experience in cybersecurity.
- Demonstrated ability to teach core cybersecurity subjects such as network security, cryptography, ethical hacking, and digital forensics.
- Strong publication record in reputable academic journals is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
