Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions in Physiology to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Develop and update course curricula, teaching materials, and assessment methods in line with global best practices.
  • Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and academic field activities.
  • Conduct high-impact research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the university's academic reputation.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, faculty committees, and university-wide academic events.
  • Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students.

Qualifications
  • Possess a Ph.D. or Master's degree in Physiology or a closely related medical science discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
  • Demonstrated relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution, commensurate with the Lecturer Grade I level.
  • A strong track record of academic publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in modern digital teaching tools and learning management systems.
