We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified Lecturer Grade I in Accounting to join our esteemed faculty.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials in various undergraduate and postgraduate accounting modules.
- Design, update, and evaluate course curricula in line with modern industry standards and academic benchmarks.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and academic assignments.
- Conduct high-quality research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the university's academic reputation.
- Actively participate in departmental meetings, committee works, student advising, and campus-wide academic events.
- Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to community outreach programs related to financial literacy and business development.
- Possess a Ph.D. or a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrated relevant teaching and academic experience at the tertiary level, preferably as a Lecturer or equivalent.
- Professional accounting certification such as ACA, ACCA, ANAN, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- A proven track record of academic publications in reputable journals will be an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with a passion for student mentorship.
