About the Role

Medbury Healthcare is an integrated healthcare organization with investments spanning the healthcare value chain, dedicated to fixing healthcare in Africa. We are currently seeking a strategic and driven Learning & Development Partner to join our Corporate Services team in Lagos. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will champion our learning agenda, design impactful development solutions, and position L&D as a vital business enabler across our ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an organization-wide learning plan aligned with business strategy, talent priorities, and capability requirements.
  • Design, curate, and continuously improve learning content, resources, and leadership development programs in partnership with internal Subject Matter Experts.
  • Facilitate engaging training workshops and development interventions across all levels of the organization.
  • Manage and optimize the Learning Management System (LMS), tracking records, reporting, and driving user engagement.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage external L&D vendors, consultants, and learning partners to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Analyze learning data and learner feedback to generate actionable insights, trends, and comprehensive L&D reports.
  • Partner closely with HR and business leaders to integrate L&D insights into talent reviews, succession planning, and career development frameworks.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Education, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Proven professional experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or Organisational Development within a structured corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in learning design, instructional content creation, facilitation, and LMS administration.
  • Strong working knowledge of external vendor management and learning evaluation methodologies.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, project management, and analytical skills.
  • High level of professional integrity, emotional intelligence, and sound judgment.
