About the Role

Slum2School Africa is a leading volunteer-driven developmental organization dedicated to transforming society by empowering disadvantaged children in slums and indigent communities to realize their full potential. Since 2012, we have bridged educational gaps by providing scholarships, creating innovative learning spaces, and offering vital psychosocial support. We are currently seeking a proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and strategic support to our Executive Director in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Executive Director's complex calendar, schedule appointments, coordinate travel plans, and handle meeting logistics.
  • Screen and prioritize incoming communications, drafting high-level correspondence, briefing materials, reports, and presentations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and manage digital and physical filing systems with utmost discretion and professionalism.
  • Track project deadlines, deliverables, and follow-ups on organizational priorities to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Liaise effectively with internal teams, board members, donors, volunteers, and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct research and provide analytical support to aid executive decision-making and special projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in an executive support role, ideally within the non-profit or development sector.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, virtual meeting platforms, and project management tools.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, multitasking abilities, and a high level of professional discretion.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
