About the Role
La Fayette Microfinance Bank Limited (Advans Nigeria) is a prominent financial institution committed to empowering MSMEs across Nigeria with accessible financial services. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a dynamic Learning & Development (L&D) Executive to design, coordinate, and implement impactful learning programs that elevate staff performance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive Training Needs Assessments (TNAs) and develop strategic annual training plans aligned with business goals.
- Design, facilitate, and update training materials tailored to microfinance operations, including credit processes, risk management, and customer service.
- Manage end-to-end employee onboarding programs and establish structured learning pathways across various job families.
- Maintain accurate training records, track certifications, and ensure strict adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.
- Evaluate training effectiveness using KPIs and feedback, continuously improving program delivery and reporting outcomes.
- Coordinate with external training vendors, manage resource allocation, and support internal knowledge management initiatives.
- Minimum of an HND or Bachelor Degree in relevant disciplines.
- 2 to 5 years of proven experience in Learning and Development, preferably within the banking or microfinance sector.
- Strong understanding of training methodologies, instructional design, and microfinance operations.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in managing training records, administration, and reporting.
