Key Responsibilities- Lead the quality design assurance process for engineering projects, ensuring compliance with global oil and gas, maritime, and petrochemical standards.
- Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and laser scanning outputs for technical accuracy and quality compliance.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, project managers, and clients to resolve quality issues proactively.
- Develop and implement robust quality management procedures, inspection test plans, and design review protocols.
- Conduct regular design audits and risk assessments to identify potential non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and uncompromising quality.
- Liaise with external regulatory bodies and certification agencies to secure necessary project approvals and compliance certificates.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of proven experience in quality assurance and design engineering within the oil, gas, maritime, or energy sector.
- Professional engineering certification (e.g., COREN, NSE, or international equivalent) is required.
- Deep understanding of industry codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ASME, ISO, API, DGL).
- Exceptional leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
