About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitizing Africa's real economy by building a robust financial ecosystem for businesses. We are currently looking for a dynamic and strategic Lead, People Business Partner to act as a crucial connector between enterprise people strategy and business execution. In this role, you will partner directly with senior business leaders to design and implement impactful initiatives that strengthen organizational performance, employee engagement, and overall capability at scale.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with business leaders to operationalize workforce plans and ensure alignment with organizational goals and talent priorities.
- Coach line managers on performance management, constructive feedback, and team engagement strategies.
- Analyze critical people metrics including attrition, engagement, and performance trends to propose data-driven solutions.
- Support organizational design, workforce planning, and change management initiatives across business units.
- Collaborate seamlessly with Centers of Excellence to successfully deliver enterprise programs on the ground.
- Act as a strong culture champion, driving inclusion, trust, and accountability through daily interactions.
- 5 to 7 years of comprehensive HR experience, with at least 3 years in an HRBP or strategic advisory role.
- Proven capability in managing multiple business units or complex cross-functional teams.
- Sound understanding of core HR processes and local labor regulations.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data trends and make informed decisions.
- Prior experience in fintech, banking, or fast-paced digital environments is highly preferred.
