We are currently looking for a dynamic Lead, Operational Risk to join our growing team in Nigeria and ensure our innovative healthcare solutions operate within a secure, well-managed risk framework.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain a robust operational risk management framework aligned with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Identify, assess, and monitor operational risks across all departments, with a specific focus on digital therapeutics operations and data handling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective risk mitigation strategies and controls.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and compliance audits to evaluate the effectiveness of existing internal controls.
- Lead incident management processes, ensuring timely root-cause analysis and the implementation of corrective actions.
- Train and educate staff across the organization on operational risk awareness and best practices.
- Prepare comprehensive risk reports and dashboards for executive leadership and the board of directors.
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, or audit, preferably within the fintech, healthtech, or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk mitigation methodologies in Nigeria.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Professional risk management certifications (e.g., CRISC, CRM, PRM) will be an added advantage.
