About the Role
Access ARM Pensions, a premier licensed Pension Fund Administrator and subsidiary of Access Holdings Plc, manages approximately N3 trillion in Assets Under Management (AUM) across nearly two million Retirement Savings Accounts. We are currently seeking a dynamic and analytical Lead, Investment Risk to join our high-performing team in Nigeria. In this critical leadership role, you will safeguard our investment portfolios by identifying, measuring, and mitigating financial risks while ensuring strict adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Lead, Investment Risk, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the risk management framework of our organization. Your daily responsibilities will encompass:
- Developing and executing comprehensive investment and portfolio risk management strategies.
- Conducting advanced financial market analysis, quantitative analytics, and stress testing.
- Building and maintaining sophisticated financial models to evaluate portfolio performance and risk exposure.
- Collaborating closely with the investment and executive teams to provide actionable risk insights.
- Ensuring full compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
- Managing stakeholder relationships and effectively communicating complex risk concepts to senior management.
To be successful in this strategic role, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or professional accounting qualifications.
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in investment risk management within the financial services sector, with proven leadership exposure.
- Exceptional capability in financial markets analysis, analytics, and complex financial modelling.
- Strong analytical judgment, problem-solving skills, and outstanding stakeholder management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
