In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our legal and corporate transactions, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory frameworks, and providing top-tier service to our diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough legal research on case law, statutes, judicial opinions, and regulations to support active cases and corporate transactions.
- Prepare, review, and draft routine legal documents, contracts, briefs, pleadings, and professional correspondence under expert guidance.
- Provide robust case and transaction support by organizing case files, assisting with corporate due diligence, and filing documents with relevant courts and regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate effectively with clients and internal teams by attending client meetings, taking detailed notes, communicating project updates, and collaborating with senior legal professionals.
- Ensure compliance and administrative excellence by maintaining accurate matter-management records and tracking relevant regulatory changes and internal compliance standards.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized institution and a valid call to the Nigerian Bar.
- Demonstrated relevant experience in legal research, documentation, and corporate support roles.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
