We are currently seeking a motivated Legal Associate with a minimum of 2-3 years of post-call experience to drive our corporate and commercial practice. Key Responsibilities- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts, agreements, and comprehensive legal documentation.
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare well-reasoned legal opinions and advisory memoranda for diverse clients.
- Handle corporate filings and compliance mandates efficiently with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and relevant regulatory bodies.
- Manage company secretarial duties, corporate governance matters, and client meetings with professionalism.
- Support comprehensive due diligence exercises and assist with critical transaction documentation.
- Must be duly called to the Nigerian Bar with 2-3 years of active post-call experience in corporate and commercial practice.
- Demonstrated strength in legal drafting, analytical problem-solving, and meticulous legal research.
- Unwavering commitment to non-litigation corporate legal work with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high professional standards.
- Must currently reside in Calabar, Cross River State, and possess proficiency in standard legal and business software.
