We are currently seeking a qualified and driven Lawyer to join our esteemed team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding our legal interests, providing sound advisory services, and ensuring total regulatory compliance across all our business operations and client engagements.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive legal advice, explaining complex laws, rules, and statutory rights to management and clients.
- Draft, review, and finalize a wide range of legal documents, including commercial contracts, agreements, deeds, and legal pleadings.
- Represent clients and the company effectively in court trials, administrative hearings, and legal settlements.
- Conduct thorough legal research on case law, statutes, and emerging regulations to build strong legal positions and cases.
- Lead negotiations to successfully resolve disputes, mediate conflicts, and settle claims outside of the courtroom.
- Ensure all corporate operations align with relevant Nigerian laws and industry best practices.
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognized institution.
- Called to the Nigerian Bar (B.L) with a valid practicing license.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of active legal practice experience in a corporate law firm or as in-house counsel.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract drafting, legal research, and litigation.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong negotiation abilities.
