Key Responsibilities- Provide expert legal advice to clients regarding their rights, legal obligations, and optimal courses of action within the framework of Nigerian law.
- Represent clients effectively in court, present compelling evidence, and skillfully cross-examine witnesses during trials, tribunals, or hearings.
- Draft, review, and meticulously prepare complex legal documents including contracts, wills, deeds, lawsuits, and appeals to ensure absolute legal compliance.
- Conduct thorough and comprehensive legal research on case law, statutory regulations, and emerging legal precedents to build robust legal arguments.
- Facilitate out-of-court settlements and engage in strategic negotiations between opposing parties to resolve disputes amicably and efficiently.
- Possess a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognized institution and a valid Barrister-at-Law (B.L) certification from the Nigerian Law School.
- Demonstrated professional experience ranging between 3 to 5 years of active legal practice in a reputable firm or corporate environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with superior abilities in negotiation, advocacy, and drafting legal documentation.
