We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and driven Legal Officer to provide expert legal support, ensure regulatory compliance, and safeguard our corporate interests and those of our esteemed partners.
Key Responsibilities- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Ensure corporate compliance with relevant Nigerian laws, regulatory frameworks, and industry standards.
- Provide proactive legal advisory services on corporate governance, labor relations, and business operations.
- Maintain and manage corporate records, statutory filings, and documentation for internal and external entities.
- Liaise with external regulatory bodies, government agencies, and external legal counsels as required.
- Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive briefs on emerging legal issues affecting the business.
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized institution.
- Barrister at Law (BL) certification with a minimum of 2 years of active post-call experience.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian corporate law, commercial practice, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
