About the Role
Domeo Resources International (DRI) is a prolific organization providing premier HR and Management Consultancy solutions built on excellence and innovation. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Laundry Supervisor to manage our client's luxury hotel laundry and linen services. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure hygienic processing of all fabrics, and maintain our high standards of guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily laundry operations, ensuring efficient washing, drying, ironing, and distribution of hotel linens and guest garments.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory control for all linens, staff uniforms, and laundry chemicals to minimize losses and control costs.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations, including proper handling of hazardous cleaning agents.
- Lead, train, and motivate the laundry team to achieve exceptional turnaround times and maintain luxury hospitality standards.
- Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and Engineering departments to address equipment maintenance and operational linen needs promptly.
- Minimum of an OND or SSCE qualification; professional certifications in textile care or hospitality are a strong advantage.
- At least 3 years of hands-on laundry operations experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role within the hospitality sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial laundry equipment, stain removal techniques, and fabric care.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and time-management skills with high attention to detail.
