BorderlessHR is looking for a dedicated and organised Inventory Officer to join our client's bustling kitchenware store. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining accurate inventory records, safeguarding stock, and ensuring that our sales and store teams have timely access to the products they need to succeed. Key Responsibilities- Receive, thoroughly inspect, and accurately record all incoming kitchenware stock.
- Maintain comprehensive logs of all stock received, issued, returned, or transferred.
- Conduct routine physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies against digital records.
- Monitor inventory thresholds closely, promptly reporting low-stock or out-of-stock items.
- Organise and store products systematically to prevent damage and optimise warehouse space.
- Investigate and report any stock damages, shrinkages, or inexplicable losses immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with the Sales and Store teams to streamline supply chain processes.
- Minimum of an OND in a relevant field of study.
- Proven professional experience working in inventory control, storekeeping, or stock management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern inventory record-keeping systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail paired with strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Immediate availability to resume work upon successful selection.
- Must reside within Shomolu, Yaba, or closely neighbouring environments in Lagos.
