We are currently recruiting a professional Laundry Attendant to join our client's hospitality team in Nigeria, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Sort, classify, and process soiled linen, towels, uniforms, and guest garments according to fabric type and washing requirements.
- Safely and efficiently operate commercial washing machines, dryers, extractors, ironers, and steam presses.
- Handle guest laundry, dry cleaning, and pressing requests accurately, confidentially, and within established turnaround times.
- Maintain effective linen and uniform management, including issuing clean items and supporting periodic inventory counts.
- Inspect all laundry items to ensure they are clean, stain-free, well-pressed, and meet luxury quality standards.
- Comply with all health, safety, hygiene, and environmental policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report equipment faults, damaged linen, and supply shortages promptly to the Laundry Supervisor.
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent educational qualification.
- At least 1 year of professional laundry experience, preferably within a hotel or commercial laundry setting.
- Proficiency in laundry machine operation, fabric care, and advanced stain-removal techniques.
- Strong physical stamina, reliability, and punctuality with keen attention to detail.
