About the Role
Domeo Resources International (DRI) is a prolific organization that proffers HR and Management Consultancy solutions premised on excellence and innovation. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Laundry Supervisor to manage the daily operations of our client's hotel laundry and linen services, ensuring pristine quality for all guests and departments.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily laundry operations, ensuring efficient washing, drying, ironing, and packaging of all linens and guest garments.
- Monitor inventory levels of linens, staff uniforms, and consumables while implementing cost control measures to minimize waste.
- Conduct rigorous quality inspections to ensure all items meet high luxury hospitality standards before distribution.
- Oversee the maintenance and proper usage of heavy-duty laundry machinery in coordination with the Engineering Department.
- Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards, including the proper handling of chemicals and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Lead, train, and motivate the laundry team to achieve exceptional turnaround times and maintain operational excellence.
- Minimum of SSCE or OND in any relevant field; professional certification in laundry or textile care is an added advantage.
- At least 3 years of hands-on laundry operations experience within a hotel or hospitality setting, including supervisory exposure.
- Strong technical knowledge of fabric care, stain treatment, and commercial laundry equipment operation.
