About the Role
Joseph's Pot, a premier dining destination in the heart of Owerri, is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Personnel to join our vibrant team. Key Responsibilities- Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold all restaurant linens, uniforms, and table settings efficiently.
- Inspect laundered items for stains, damage, or wear and tear, reporting any issues to management.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry work area at all times.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate with other restaurant staff to ensure timely availability of clean linens for daily operations.
- Minimum of a SSCE or relevant academic qualification.
- Proven experience working in a laundry role, preferably within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle tasks with minimum supervision.
- Residency in or around Owerri is an added advantage.
