About the Role
Hotel Capitol is a modern and contemporary three-star luxury hotel strategically located in the heart of Omole Phase 1, Lagos. With 28 tastefully furnished rooms and suites, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional comfort and top-tier hospitality experiences to our guests. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Personnel to join our housekeeping and maintenance operations, ensuring our high standards of cleanliness and presentation are consistently maintained across all linens, uniforms, and guest garments.
Key Responsibilities- Wash, dry, fold, and iron hotel linens, terry, staff uniforms, and guest laundry with utmost care.
- Inspect all laundered items for stains, damage, or wear, and report issues promptly.
- Operate and maintain commercial laundry equipment including industrial washers, tumble dryers, and pressing machines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized laundry workspace adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and professional customer service when handling guest laundry requests and inquiries.
- Collaborate closely with the housekeeping team to ensure a steady, uninterrupted supply of fresh linens for daily room turnover.
- Minimum of an SSCE (Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination) qualification.
- At least 1 year of hands-on professional experience working in a laundry facility, hotel, or related hospitality environment.
- Familiarity with the operation and basic maintenance of commercial laundry machinery.
- Proximity to work locations along the Ogba, Agege, Ikeja, Ojodu Berger, Akute, or Ketu axis in Lagos.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the physical stamina required for a fast-paced hotel environment.
