Key Responsibilities- Sort, wash, dry, and press hotel linens, towels, and guest garments according to established quality standards and procedures.
- Operate and maintain commercial laundry equipment, including industrial washers, dryers, and ironing presses.
- Inspect all laundered items for stains, damage, or wear and tear, and report any issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Fold, stack, and organize clean items systematically for easy storage and quick distribution to various departments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laundry work area adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory of laundry supplies and report shortages to management in a timely manner.
- Handle guest special requests and express laundry services promptly and professionally.
- Minimum of OND, SSCE, or relevant vocational certification in hospitality or a related field.
- Proven professional experience working as a laundry attendant, preferably within the hospitality or hotel sector.
- Strong knowledge of different fabric types, washing techniques, and stain removal processes.
- Ability to operate heavy-duty commercial laundry machinery safely and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads of laundry.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with team members and guests.
