We are currently recruiting a skilled Land Surveyor to join our growing team on behalf of a reputable client in the construction sector. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the structural accuracy and legal compliance of various construction projects by providing precise measurements, boundary verifications, and detailed topographical assessments.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive land and construction site surveys, precise measurements, and critical setting-out activities.
- Establish and rigorously verify site boundaries, elevation levels, accurate coordinates, and reference points.
- Prepare detailed survey plans, comprehensive technical reports, and essential documentation for project stakeholders.
- Set out building foundations, complex structural elements, access roads, and other vital infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, civil engineers, and site architects to resolve spatial conflicts promptly.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and industry standards across all active construction sites.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Surveying, Geomatics, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant professional surveying experience, specifically within the Nigerian construction industry.
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating modern surveying equipment such as Total Stations, GPS, and Theodolites.
- Strong working knowledge of industry-standard surveying software and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools.
- Current registration or affiliation with relevant professional bodies like the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors (NIS) is an added advantage.
