About the Role
The National Institute for Nigerian Languages (NINLAN), an autonomous Inter-University Centre under the National Universities Commission (NUC), is looking for a dedicated and skilled Laboratory Technologist. In this vital role, you will provide essential technical support for our specialized language and research laboratories, ensuring optimal functionality of equipment and seamless assistance to students and academic staff.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain laboratory equipment, tools, and technical resources
- Assist academic staff and students with practical laboratory sessions and research activities
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and laboratory standards
- Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and prompt repair of technical installations
- Maintain accurate inventory records of laboratory supplies and equipment
- Support faculty research projects through precise data collection and technical execution
- Possession of a relevant academic qualification in Laboratory Technology or a related scientific/technical discipline
- Professional certification and current registration with relevant professional bodies Proven experience working in a recognized educational or research laboratory environment
