We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our growing team in Lagos and support our commitment to healthcare excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, label, process, and properly handle patient specimens according to standard operating procedures.
  • Perform routine laboratory investigations within the approved scope of practice.
  • Assist with sample collection, preparation, and processing.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment appropriately and safely.
  • Prepare reagents and other materials required for laboratory investigations.
  • Assist with quality control procedures and ensure accurate test results.
  • Maintain proper laboratory records, registers, and documentation.
  • Ensure proper storage and disposal of specimens and laboratory waste.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness within the laboratory environment.
  • Adhere strictly to infection prevention, biosafety, confidentiality, and laboratory procedures.
  • Report equipment faults, abnormal results, or other concerns promptly to the Medical Laboratory Scientist or Supervisor.
  • Work effectively with other members of the laboratory and healthcare team.
Qualifications
  • BSc or HND in Medical Laboratory Technology or a relevant qualification from a recognized institution.
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a hospital or diagnostic laboratory is an advantage.
  • Valid registration and practicing licence with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork.
