In this role, you will play a crucial part in facilitating practical learning experiences, guiding students through hands-on laboratory sessions, and ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art facilities in alignment with our high institutional standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and guide undergraduate students during practical laboratory sessions and experiments.
- Demonstrate proper equipment operation, specimen handling, and experimental techniques.
- Ensure strict adherence to laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized working environment.
- Prepare laboratory manuals, reagents, and equipment required for scheduled practical classes.
- Maintain accurate inventories of laboratory supplies, chemicals, and equipment, reporting any defects promptly.
- Assist faculty members and researchers with ongoing scientific investigations and academic projects.
- Possession of a good Honours degree or HND in Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Science, Medical Science, or a closely related discipline.
- Current professional registration with relevant regulatory bodies is required.
- Demonstrated practical experience in laboratory instruction and student supervision.
- Strong understanding of laboratory safety standards, specimen handling, and equipment maintenance.
