About the Role
Dragnet Solutions is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic team in Warri. In this vital role, you will perform and quality-assure laboratory testing accurately and safely, directly supporting patient care and the smooth daily operation of our laboratory services. You will work within a professional environment that values excellence, integrity, and adherence to international standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform accurate and reliable laboratory testing across relevant disciplines to professional standards.
- Apply strict biosafety and quality-control protocols in day-to-day practice.
- Ensure equipment readiness for assigned tasks and report any faults promptly.
- Maintain precise laboratory records and support efficient reporting and result workflows.
- Handle specimen collection, processing, and testing with utmost care and competence.
- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) from a recognized institution.
- Successful completion of the required national internship and NYSC, or a valid exemption.
- Minimum of 1 year of post-registration experience in medical laboratory science practice (newly registered practitioners may be considered).
- Demonstrated clinical and technical competence appropriate to the role.
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting laboratory equipment.
