About the Role
Image Diagnostics is a premier Medical Imaging and Clinical Support Center dedicated to delivering world-class diagnostic services across Nigeria. Founded in 2000 by Dr. Okechukwu Erondu, we pride ourselves on exceptional patient care, cost-effectiveness, and diagnostic accuracy. We are currently seeking a motivated Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic clinical team at our Port Harcourt facility.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and analyses accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality control standards, and infection control guidelines.
- Collect, process, and label patient specimens correctly while maintaining comprehensive records.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other medical support staff to ensure rapid and accurate diagnoses.
- Manage inventory of laboratory reagents, supplies, and materials proactively.
- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid practicing license with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- Fresh graduates (NYSC completed) or candidates with 1-2 years of relevant clinical laboratory experience.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Proficiency in data management and basic computer applications.
