In this pivotal role, you will provide advanced specialist care, ensuring accurate cardiovascular diagnoses, effective treatments, and optimal health outcomes for our patients in a collaborative hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist cardiac consultations, comprehensive diagnoses, tailored treatment plans, and continuous follow-up care.
- Manage complex cardiovascular conditions in strict accordance with evidence-based clinical standards.
- Review and interpret diagnostic investigations including ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary medical teams, including physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals.
- Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and timely electronic clinical documentation for all patients.
- Contribute actively to hospital clinical governance, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Uphold uncompromising standards of medical ethics, confidentiality, and compassionate, patient-centred care.
- Possession of an MBBS or equivalent primary medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Recognized postgraduate specialist qualification in Cardiology (e.g., FWACP, FMCP, or equivalent).
- Current practicing license and active registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Demonstrated clinical experience working as a Consultant Cardiologist in a reputable healthcare setting.
