Key Responsibilities- Conduct accurate laboratory tests and analyses according to approved standard operating procedures and methods.
- Maintain and implement robust quality management systems to ensure consistent operational excellence.
- Ensure strict compliance with local and international regulatory standards and guidelines.
- Monitor environmental conditions and housekeeping programs within the laboratory workspace.
- Develop and update comprehensive SOPs and clear work instructions for team members.
- Prepare high-quality reagents, chemicals, and reference standards for daily testing activities.
- Manage equipment calibration and verification schedules to guarantee optimal instrument performance.
- Enforce strict safety policies, good laboratory practices, and maintain data confidentiality and impartiality.
- Bachelor degree in Microbiology with a minimum grade of Second Class Upper (2:1).
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of cognate professional work experience as a Laboratory Analyst.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and international laboratory standards.
