Key Responsibilities- Perform laboratory testing across relevant laboratory areas to professional standards and best practices.
- Apply strict biosafety and quality-control standards in day-to-day practice to ensure reliable results.
- Maintain equipment readiness for daily tasks and report any technical faults promptly.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and actively support reporting and result workflows.
- Handle specimens with utmost care, ensuring traceability and precision throughout the testing process.
- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) from a recognized institution.
- Successful completion of required national internship and NYSC, or a valid exemption.
- Minimum of 1 year of post-registration or post-internship experience in medical laboratory science practice, though exceptional newly registered practitioners may be considered.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory practice, specimen handling, biosafety, and quality control.
- Competence in operating laboratory equipment and utilizing laboratory information systems.
- Specialty training or relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
