About the Role
Chemiron International Limited, a renowned leader in nutritional healthcare supplements established in 1987, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Lab Analyst to join our dynamic team in Agbara, Ogun State. In this vital role, you will contribute to our mission of delivering superior healthcare solutions by ensuring the highest quality, safety, and efficacy of our health supplements and pharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct rigorous testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished pharmaceutical products.
- Ensure strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and company quality control standards.
- Operate, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on advanced laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Maintain accurate, comprehensive documentation of all test results, procedures, and laboratory logs.
- Identify and troubleshoot testing discrepancies or equipment issues with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate effectively with production and quality assurance teams to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
- Adhere strictly to laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- HND or B.Sc. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven relevant laboratory experience within a manufacturing or chemical laboratory environment.
- Solid understanding of laboratory procedures, documentation standards, and quality control methodologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards including GMP and GLP.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Mandatory residency in Agbara or its immediate environs to ensure reliable attendance.
