We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Research and Development Officer to join our innovative R&D team and contribute to our mission of delivering flawless products on time, every time.
Key Responsibilities- Execute processing details and pre-formulation studies for the development of oral solid, oral liquid, and topical formulations.
- Initiate stability studies for new and existing products, withdrawing and transferring samples to relevant laboratories.
- Follow up with Quality Control (QC), In-Process Control (IPC), and microbiology units to collate stability results.
- Perform characterization of innovator and reference brands while executing laboratory trials for product reformulation.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation related to formulation development in compliance with industry standards.
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in a chemistry-based science discipline.
- Minimum of three to four years of hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of the chemistry of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and excipients.
- Familiarity with validation, equipment qualification, and technology transfer processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, literature review, communication, and time management skills.
