About the Role

Dony Triumph Nig. Ltd., a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution company based in Onitsha, South-East Nigeria, is looking for a dedicated and meticulous Chemistry Analyst to join our Quality Control (QC) Department. In this critical role, you will perform accurate chemical and instrumental analyses to ensure all pharmaceutical products meet stringent quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct physical and chemical analyses of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products.
  • Operate and maintain advanced laboratory instruments including HPLC, GC, UV-Visible spectrophotometer, FTIR, and dissolution apparatus.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ALCOA+ data integrity principles.
  • Prepare, standardize, and properly label laboratory reagents, solutions, and reference standards.
  • Investigate and report Out-of-Specification (OOS) or Out-of-Trend (OOT) results promptly in line with company protocols.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory environment while properly handling hazardous chemicals and wearing appropriate PPE.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience as a QC Chemistry Analyst within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in operating modern analytical equipment such as HPLC and GC.
  • Deep understanding of pharmacopoeial standards, GMP guidelines, and data integrity requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
